HOW DO YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
Have you ever thought about that question before? You have heard of God but don’t know how to get to him. Maybe when you think of God, you have hesitations about having a relationship with him because of the challenges you experienced in your life.
God loves you and desires for you to know him! Ultimately, you will one day need to know the answer to this question. It won’t be silly, but a real face-to-face conversation with God.
Having a relationship with God (being saved) is not about doing good things; it's about believing in Jesus to be your Savior. As you turn from your sin and put your faith in Jesus, you begin a relationship with Jesus.
Let’s examine more in the Bible to see how we truly can have a relationship with God. Here is the secret: it’s easier than you think!
CLOSING QUESTION: HAVE YOU CONFESSED JESUS AS LORD?
That is your first step to starting a relationship with God! Pray something like this:
"Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe you are my Lord and Savior. Come make your home inside of my heart. In Jesus name, Amen."
