He Cheated but He Renews Sample
But, I failed. My marriage had failed. My family failed again.
I remember sitting in my car when I would get home from work and not having the gumption to walk into my house because the moment I stepped out of my car I had to face the reality that my reality was no longer the same.
I remember my daughter getting me off the floor and tucking me into my bed because I could not catch my breath from anxiety. I had to get a hold of myself and understand that I had to stop reflecting on the past because God was resurrecting something new in my spirit.
I had to stop holding onto the old because He wanted me to start making room for the new.
I had to get uncomfortable so He could stretch me, refine me, and mold me into all He called me to be.
I had to cry myself to sickness so He could empty it all out of me for restoration.
I had to learn that everything that God had for me Had not yet been manifested, so I had to let go and lean in so I could hear what was coming!
I had to trust His provision for my life and understand that even though it looked like He had forsaken me, He had just been altering my dress and aligning it for His masterpiece.
I had to let go and let God. I had to surrender. If God is the Alpha—Who, because He had a purpose and plan for my life, protected me when I was born seven weeks early, weighing only three pounds, and placed in an incubator—then as a 33-year-old woman I have to trust that He is also the Omega, and that everything not only begins with Him but also ends with Him.
If I still have breath in my lungs then His work is not over. Friend, sister, brother, daughter, son, if you have breath in your lungs He is not done! Trust Him! Trust His plan for your life, trust that He is who He says He is and that He knew the beginning and ending of your book before you were born. He knew which page of the story you would flip to, and He gives you life abundantly even in a broken season! He loves you in your mess, and He will make it beautiful.

About this Plan
Dr. Marshall's "He Cheated" series has gone through the initial response of infidelity, the path of reconciliation, but then there is also the path of renewal. If reconciliation was not the path in your marriage, remember that God makes all things new and will bring beauty from the ashes. This plan is meant to encourage and inspire new beginnings.
