And It Was GoodSample

You know those people who take charge because it won't get done right if they don’t do it? That’s me. I have this overwhelming need to always be in control of things. Can you relate?
When facing injustices in our lives and world, it can often feel like people aren’t doing enough or that monumental changes are out of our control. However, the prophet Isaiah reminds us that we aren’t in control; God is. Not only is God in control, but God advocates day and night for those experiencing injustice. God has the final say regarding those who choose to mistreat God’s creation. Because of that, we can let go of control and instead trust God with every part of our world.
Today, reflect on this question, “What in my life do I need to release control of?” Then, give it over to God.
