Twenty Five Days of Christmas DevotionsSample
Mary was engaged to Joseph, looking forward to a happy married life and raising a family. That is when the angel appeared with the news that would change her life forever. The thought of being a virgin bearing a child, conceived of the Holy Spirit would have been way beyond her comfort zone. It brought with it the possibility of divorce and even harsher punishment. Yet, knowing that this was the will of God for her life, she wholeheartedly accepted it as God’s best plan for her.
We can choose to be the Lord of our own lives and try to make our own destiny by choosing what seems best for us. But when you surrender yourself completely to the will of God, who is mighty and abounding in steadfast love, you may not understand all that He is doing, but you can rest assured that His plans for you will always be better in the long run.

About this Plan
There is no better season than Christmas to dwell on the reason for the season. Over the next 25 days, we will look back at some key prophecies relating to the promised Messiah. We will also observe the lives and circumstances that surrounded the birth of Jesus. Above all, we will see how Jesus makes a difference in our lives both now and forever.
