The Good News of Jesus Christ is not insider knowledge to be possessed as a Christian secret. It’s God’s truth—His gift of life, meant for all people! And He entrusted us with it—to share it.
When we do, we get to participate with God in pulling people back from the brink of death. What a privilege! Because of Jesus, people are saved and changed forever—just like we’ve been.
And it’s not only others who benefit when we obediently share Jesus. As we share the Gospel, we drink deeply of its power, becoming ever more satisfied in Christ.
Philemon 1:6 says,
...and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.
God wants us to share the Gospel—not only for others–but for our own good! We were made to share Jesus! Fulfilling that purpose is how we experience the fullness of Him.
