Recognizing our true identity in Christ is a foundational truth that supports our value as believers. There is nothing like knowing "who" you belong to and "what" belongs to you. I spent many years praying aimlessly, adopting the wrong posture, and settling for less than my spiritual inheritance. Why did I do this? It was because I failed to comprehend the spiritual importance of my words and how they flowed from my mouth.

When we devalue ourselves and lack awareness of our true identity, we often find ourselves content with less than God's very best. We then pray without the faith that pleases Him. We must be mindful of our prayer posture when presenting requests to God. That revelation alone transformed the way I approached God and declared His Word. It marked the moment of a significant shift in my prayer posture. I was no longer standing before God as an unworthy beggar. I stood before Him as an heir with a spirit of expectation. Our prayer posture reflects our faith, and without faith, it is impossible to please God. He promises to withhold "NO good thing" from us.
