Advent: Exploring Hope, Peace, Love, and JoySample

Pray
Dear Lord, thank You for everything that You are. You sent Jesus into the world as just a small child, and even on His first day on the earth, He was Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Even in my own life, I’ve seen and witnessed each one of these things in You:
You are Wonderful Counselor: You give me wisdom and discernment, counseling me in every decision.
You are Mighty God: You are strong and majestic with the ability to do anything.
You are Everlasting Father: Even before I was born and could call You Father, I was Your child, and You shepherd me with Your gentle love even to this today.
You are Prince of Peace: You answer the cries of my heart with Your comfort.
When I am doubting, reassure me with these reminders of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
