Ever catch yourself worrying about what your financial future will look like? Maybe you're concerned about retirement, the kids' college funds, or that dream house you always wanted. It's totally normal to think about the future, but Matthew 6:34 advises, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

This isn't to say we shouldn't plan or save, but it reminds us not to get so caught up in the what-ifs of the future that we miss the needs and joys of today. Yes, create a budget, save for retirement, and be wise, but don't let the burden of tomorrow's troubles steal today's peace.

Remember, you're not in this alone. God is with you through it all, and He promises to never leave us or forsake us.

Let’s pray:

Lord, as Matthew 6:34 instructs me, I choose not to worry about tomorrow and all the days to come, especially where finances are concerned.

Help me focus on today, knowing each day has its own set of challenges and blessings. You told me in Isaiah 41:10 not to fear, for You are with me. Strengthen me, Lord, and help me to be wise with my finances, knowing that You uphold me with Your righteous right hand. Amen.
