No Turning Back
Total commitment is hard. It’s natural to want to hold a little back. We want a safety margin; a bank account, just in case. "Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!" people say. But true Christ-followers know that he is not looking for half-hearted, ‘maybes’, ‘just in case’, ‘if-everything-runs-smoothly’ disciples. There is a cost to following Jesus … but it is a cost well worth the price.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I want to go forward today. No looking back. Whatever happened yesterday I lay at the cross and tomorrow I put in your hands. Give me the faith and confidence in you for the day ahead. You are Lord of all in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
