Father And Son
Why give grace and mercy to those who offend us? They too are someone’s precious children whose parents may be crying out silently on their behalf. Despite Absalom’s sins against the family, kingdom and himself, King David’s love towards his son did not change. Are we not the same with our own child?
Prayer: Lord, let me be gentle and gracious. Whilst I remember that the people I am dealing with are someone’s precious children, I shall also see them as my own so that when I am to pass judgment on them I shall be kind and gentle, just the way that I wish my children to be treated. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
About this Plan
How do we live our lives in the Kingdom of God on earth? How do we feed ourselves with the Word of God? By reading the Bible. But how do we grasp all the Bible has to offer in an easy and enjoyable way? This reading plan spans one year with daily bite-sized chunks of devotions and scripture to help you stay focused, at a comfortable pace and without overwhelming yourself. As you begin your walk through the bible, you’ll see the God’s Kingdom reveal itself and you’ll start to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply God's word in your life.
