Who God Says I AmSample
STRENGTH OF SPIRIT
Today's Scripture:
So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.
2 Corinthians 12:10 TPT
Think about this:
Have you experienced times when you needed to be strong and brave? How did you feel? There will be times when we are required to be strong, but we will feel weak. In this verse, Paul says that our weakness is a door that allows God's power to come in and make us strong. When you feel weak, simply open the door of your heart. God is always ready to pour more of His strength into you.
Journaling prompt 1:
Think of a time when you needed to be strong. What happened and how did you deal with the situation?
Journaling prompt 2:
God lives in you. You have access to His strength and power. How does it make you feel knowing that you do not have to rely on your own ability to be strong?
Say this out loud today:
I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. He makes me strong!
