Transforming Your Mind

So many people want to know the plans and purpose God has for their life. How great would it be if we had an instruction manual that gave us a play-by-play of the choices God wanted us to make? Well, here’s the thing—we do. The instruction manual is the Bible; you just have to study it. The Word of God is our how-to guide. It’s breathed by God. It doesn’t change. There is no lie in it. Every answer to every problem is found inside the Bible. Too many times we run to the world looking for the solutions to our problems. The world is in direct opposition of God. It tells us to go left, and the Bible tells us to go right. The world tells us to go down, and the Word of God tells us to go up. As we follow the world, we wonder why our lives are in shambles and we aren’t experiencing victory in our lives. We have to renew the way we think by lining up our actions with the Word of God and not with what the world tells us. If you want to know what God’s will is for your life, you have to unravel it by turning your back on the wisdom of the world, changing your mindset, and searching through the pages of the holy Scriptures.

Lord God, I ask for a divine revelation of what Your will is for my life. I lay down all preconceived notions, ideas, and beliefs that lead me astray and don’t line up with Your Word. Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a new mindset that puts You first in all that I do. Amen.
