God-Made

DAY 3 OF 5

In the pursuit of success, we often find ourselves pondering the age-old question: What truly determines our destiny?

Is it our own relentless effort and determination, or is it the divine hand of fate guiding us? The debate between self-made and God-made has raged on, but perhaps the answer lies in a harmonious blend of the two.

It is undeniable that self-made individuals possess an unwavering drive, an unyielding spirit that propels them forward against all odds. They are the architects of their own success, crafting their dreams with unwavering dedication and perseverance. Through their hard work, they shape their own destinies, overcoming obstacles and transforming challenges into opportunities. These self-made individuals inspire us to believe in the power of human potential and the strength that lies within each of us. It isn’t something to take lightly; it is an impressive feat.

However, amidst the pursuit of worldly success, we must not forget the divine presence that surrounds us. For it is in acknowledging the hand of God in our lives that we discover the true meaning of success. True success is not merely measured by material wealth or accolades, but by the impact we have on others and the fulfillment we find in our hearts. It is the alignment of our ambitions with a higher purpose—a purpose that transcends our personal desires and serves the greater good.

Yet, there is a temptation that we all face on this journey—a temptation to stray from the path of righteousness. Sin, in its allure, promises pleasures and instant gratification, but it is only a fleeting illusion. It is a mirage that fades with time, leaving us empty and unfulfilled. The pursuit of true success requires us to resist these temptations to choose the path less traveled, guided by the values and principles that define our character.

It’s not easy, but no one said that success would be.

With God in the driver's seat, however, success is not only possible but expected.
