Children of the Bible

DAY 11 OF 15

The biggest single stem tree in the world is a giant sequoia, it’s 83.8 meters high (275 ft) and 11 meters (36ft) in diameter. This tree is believed to be between 2,200 - 2,700 years old. It could have been planted 700 years before Jesus came to earth. Do you know how small it was then? It was just a tiny seed.

Small things make a big difference. Your littlest toe makes a big difference for your balance and walking. A small screw can make a big difference to how strong a piece of furniture is. A small part in an airplane’s navigation system makes a big difference. A small stone in your shoe makes a big difference. Getting enough sleep is a small thing that makes a big difference.

Small things can make a big difference in so many ways. You might be small, but you can make a big difference in the world. You make a big difference in your community, your church, your school and with your friends and family.

Big things start small. God can use you to do big things. God doesn’t overlook children or small things in His Kingdom. There is greatness in you! God can do a lot with little.

You’re not too young, too small or too little. You’re never too young to make a big difference for God.
