Kingdom People - the Early ChurchSample

What does a builder do? They use hammers, nails, concrete, and building materials to construct things. They might build a house, a school, furniture, or a skyscraper. Did you know that we are builders, too? We might not be good at using a hammer and nails, but we are all builders of something bigger. We are builders of something that lasts into eternity.
We build God’s Kingdom. We are kingdom people who build the Church. But how do we build the Church? God gives us gifts, things we’re good at doing, which He can use to build the Church through us. The Bible talks about ‘ministry gifts’:
You might be a prophet - someone who encourages and speaks God’s messages to people.
You might be an evangelist - someone with the gift of sharing the gospel.
You might be a shepherd - someone gifted at caring for people.
You could be a teacher - someone who can lead others in learning God’s Word.
No matter what you’re gifted at, we’re all ‘saints’ in the work of the ministry, which means we all have a part to play in building the Church. We can all help others, encourage, share, pray, welcome, and care for people. Kingdom people build the Church through helping others.
