Your New PlaylistSample
Have you ever walked into a room and felt like you were shrinking? I know that sounds like a wild question, but let me explain. Have you ever tried getting into something new, but it felt like everyone was better than you or further ahead? I know I’ve felt that way before. When I started playing viola in my college orchestra, I felt so small, like I would never catch up to my team members. Then God reminded me that I was valuable no matter what and that I was worthy of taking up space because God created me. God is a pro at creating amazing things like nature, your favorite people, and everything in the universe! If God created all those extraordinary things, wouldn’t that make you extraordinary too? You’re awesome in God’s eyes and even though it may not always feel like it, God has an amazing plan written out for you.
God wants you to be a part of a bigger story, bigger than it would be without Him. Our value doesn’t come from the things we do or don’t do. We’re valuable because the Creator of the universe calls us children of God and invites us to have a relationship with Jesus. You are enough—just as you are—not because you deserve it, but because Jesus fills the space separating us from God's perfection. When you go back to the class, team, or circumstance that made you feel small, I challenge you not to shrink.
When you start to feel like you’re not enough, ask God to help you remember that Jesus fills the space between who you are and who you are becoming.

About this Plan
Incorporating wisdom from the Acuffs’ book "Your New Playlist," we’re going to tap into the superpower of mindset. We’ll cover topics from repeated negative thoughts to the experience of temporary feelings. We'll learn just how much the way we think, impacts the life we live. God cares deeply about our thoughts, so we’ll look to Scripture to choose mindsets that align with the full life we were created to live.
