Stay on Track! Paul's Letter to the GalatiansSample
The gospel message comes from God, not man.
“For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 1:11-12).
Paul has claimed that only the gospel preached by him is the true gospel. That raises the question of how Paul can be so sure. Why should people trust him and not other teachers holding a different opinion? Paul replies, "I did not make this up myself, nor did I receive it from other people. Jesus Christ Himself revealed it to me." Jesus is the most trustworthy source imaginable.
When Paul was not yet a believer, he met the risen Jesus personally. This encounter changed Paul’s life completely. Not only did he finally realize that Jesus really is the Son of God and Savior of humanity, but Paul was also appointed as a witness of this insight (and many more important insights from the gospel). He was to spread this good news to people in different countries.
That’s exactly what Paul did for the rest of his life - he shared what Jesus taught him. Much of his teaching has been handed down to us in the Bible. Do you believe that the Bible teaches us the truth and that its message comes from God?

About this Plan
Paul wrote a letter to the Galatians because he was very concerned about their spiritual well-being. They were in danger of straying from the right path, and Paul goes to great lengths to keep them from that. His explanations and advice are still extremely relevant today!
