God Has Great Plans for Me!

God is purpose driven. There is nothing that He considers “just for the fun of it.” From small to large, everything God puts His hands on and His words and thoughts to is intentional and purposeful, even if His purposes aren’t immediately clear.

What isn’t so obvious to many today is the purpose for which God has brought them into existence. We should not be surprised that one in five people today struggles with depression, often rooted in feeling purposeless. Treatment frequently involves methods to reestablish the individual’s sense of purpose—things such as creating a routine, setting goals, taking on responsibilities, doing something new, or volunteering for a cause.

Here again, this all reinforces how our beliefs directly impact our lives and thus why it is essential to know and stand on the truth of God’s Word.

Allow God’s promise to transcend time and speak to you today. God’s Word assures that He has a great plan for you. Trust that the circumstances of today will not harm you but that God will use it all to prepare you for what is ahead. Enjoy where you are on the way to where you are going.
