Commissioned to Go... but Where do I Go?

Often, we envision fulfilling the Great Commission as a grand endeavor that necessitates traversing to distant lands. While this may be true for some, for many of us, the mission field lies within the very spaces we are already placed in.

The call to proclaim the kingdom of God echoes through the neighborhoods we call home, the daily conversations we engage in, and the lives we touch each day on a personal level.

The entire world is our mission field, but we need not embark on arduous journeys to find it.

That place may very well be where we are right now.

Embrace this truth that every ordinary moment holds extraordinary potential for Kingdom impact.

The mission field awaits us just beyond our front doors, in the familiar faces we encounter every day.

Step out in faith, guided by the Holy Spirit, overflowing with love, to make Jesus known in the spaces we occupy.

2 Corinthians 5:20:

“We are, therefore, Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”

We are commissioned to share the love and truth of Christ with everyone, in every nation, and every home. Let us respond to the commission with passion and purpose. In love, knowing that as we fulfill the Great Commission, we participate in God's eternal plan to bring salvation and transformation to the world.
