God of the ImpossibleSample
Day 1: The Battle in the Wilderness:
Welcome to the God of the Impossible Plan! On day 1, we're discussing how we should view and approach our battles in the wilderness.
As we go through life, it is wise to look at each stage, each season, as a steppingstone to the next level and to know that we are being changed into who we were created to be.
These seasons that take place will differ from one another greatly. There will be seasons of prosperity and seasons of peace, but there will also be seasons of difficulty, doubt, and despair.
In an effort to keep this plan somewhat short and readable, I won't go into all the details about my sickness and health problems that wreaked havoc on my life. Let’s just suffice it to say that these problems had gotten so bad, I began to doubt God's plan. I began to lose hope.
However, in the midst of my darkest season, several scriptures became my lifeline. I continue to hold onto them to this day. One of them I repeatedly read and rehearsed was Philippians 4:13 (NIV): “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Another is Psalm 139, which talks about God's protection and guidance in our lives.
I don't know what you're going through right now. But if you're facing an obstacle as seemingly big and bad as I was facing, I feel for you. Know that God is with you, and with His help you will make it out on the other side.
Rely on God in the midst of your wilderness battles. With Him, you can be victorious!
