Missionary in YouSample
Welcome to Day 5 of our Bible reading plan! Today, we will talk about the importance of sharing our faith and stories with others.
James 2:14-26 reminds us that faith without action is dead. It's not enough to sit in a room worshipping and studying God if we never share it with others. Imagine receiving a fabulous gift like a skateboard for Christmas but never riding it. What a waste!
Sure, there's a time for personal growth, but we must also get uncomfortable because God gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort us when we step out of our comfort zone. Revelation 12:11 says that we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Your story of how Jesus changed your life has incredible power!
In Galatians 1:13-14, Paul shares his testimony in just two short verses. But then, he focuses on God's grace and redemptive work for the rest of the book. Our stories are not about our past failures but about God's transforming love because your old self died, and now your new self lives in Christ. Take time to write down and practice your story to be ready to share it when the opportunity arises.
Everyone has a story, and yours can inspire and impact others. So let's be ready to share it and spread the love of Christ wherever we go!
About this Plan
Ask God to reveal where He wants to multiply through you. Where should you reach out: home, work, neighbors, in your city or state, or in a foreign country? God is faithful. He will direct you. This 6-day reading plan will help you understand the missionary life God has for you!
