Seeking God's Approval
Read:
Galatians 1:10 - "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Hey there, beautiful soul! Welcome to Day 5 of our devotional journey. Today, we're diving into the importance of seeking God's approval above all else. Let's get started!
Imagine a girl named Charissa who loved art. She had a passion for painting and expressing her creativity through vibrant colors and bold strokes. But whenever Charissa shared her artwork with others, she found herself seeking their approval and validation.
One day, Charissa came across Galatians 1:10, where Paul questions if he is trying to win the approval of people or of God. These words struck a chord in Charissa’s heart, reminding her of the true source of her worth and validation.
Inspired by this verse, she decided to shift her focus from seeking the approval of others to seeking God's approval. Instead of creating art to impress people, she started creating art as an expression of her love for God and the unique gifts He had given her.
As Charissa painted, she felt a newfound freedom and joy. She no longer worried about what others thought of her art; instead, she painted with passion, pouring her heart and soul into every brushstroke. And as she sought God's approval above all else, her artwork touched people's hearts in ways she couldn't have imagined.
