WHAT TO PRAY

Do you have a teaspoon in your house? Even people who don’t drink tea call small spoons “teaspoons”!

Try using a teaspoon to help you pray. Teaspoon prayers begin T, S, and P: thank you, sorry, and please.

It’s very simple – and it’s very powerful. When Jesus taught his followers to pray, he told them to:

• THANK God for who he is and what he has done.
• Say SORRY for the bad things we have said and done and forgive people who have done and said wrong things to us.
• Ask God PLEASE to provide for all we need and to protect us. Jesus said that we should ask God for his will to be done.

So there you have it! Next time you see or hold a teaspoon, remember to pray.
