YOU ARE WITH ME

God is always with us

Asking God to be with us is like asking God to make water run downhill. Water will always run downhill. There’s nothing you can do to stop it. God will always be with us, and there is nothing we can do to change that I experienced this so tangibly recently when my wife and I were in a real challenging season. My wife was struggling with severe asthma attacks and they kept getting worse. We ended up finding black mould in our house and we knew this was causing the attacks. We gave our 30 days notice and packed our stuff, not knowing where the next place would be that we would call home. When

It was a very chaotic season! One night I was sitting on our couch strumming my guitar in the living room, spending time with the Lord, as I listened to my wife struggling with another asthma flare up in our room as she tried to fall asleep. His presence became so tangible. I felt this peace beyond all understanding. The Bible promises when we seek him in prayer and come to him with thankful hearts he gives us a peace beyond all understanding.

You are the one who brings me hope

You’re faithful You’re faithful

The Lord is always with us. There is never a moment in life when he is not with us. I love what Jesus says to conclude the Gospel of Matthew. He commissions the disciples to go into the world to proclaim all they’ve seen and heard. Then he reminds them of this promise: “be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt 28:20b)

Your light is shining
You make the darkness flee
You are my rescue
Lord You are with me

Know today that the Lord is always with you. He will never abandon you. Stand on that promise and let your heart rejoice with thanksgiving that you are never alone!
