Caught UpSample

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? What do you think? For many of us, we might think “My hair is not as pretty as hers is…” or “I wish I had that eye color…” It’s natural for us to look at ourselves and compare ourselves to others. Whether we want to be taller, more athletic, or more creative, we end up judging ourselves for it.
God says that what we look like isn’t what really matters, because God made us exactly the way we are. God made us perfectly! And God loves who we are, not just what we look like or what we can do. So why should we wish to be like someone else if God is the one who designed us and loves who we are?
The next time you feel caught up in comparing yourself to someone else, remind yourself of this verse. Choose to remember that God made you and loves you exactly the way you are!
