Good Questions: What Do I Need to Do to Be Saved?Sample
A Light for All to See
Did you know that you don’t save people? Do you feel like the weight is on you? Do you think that you don’t have the right words to share the gospel? We may not always know what to say, but we always know who to point them to: Jesus. Our goal should be to live in a way that others see the gospel in us. We should also have the courage to ask other people about their faith and share the good news with them.
The gospel is for everyone. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. The gospel is the most inclusive thing there is, and it is open to everyone regardless of race, age, socioeconomic class, country, place, education level, or anything else. The gospel is the good news of Jesus and the answer to the most important question in all of eternity: what must I do to be saved?
We have the privilege and responsibility of being the light in this world. The story of the Centennial Light Bulb is a remarkable one. A light bulb has been burning bright since 1901, outlasting three previous fire stations, the company that made it, and the building it was made in. It is called the Centennial Light Bulb. What is even more remarkable about the Centennial Light Bulb is the purpose it has served, enabling firefighters to see hoses and ladders in the dark. This small light bulb has been critical in keeping people safe for over a century. It has been a beacon of hope and a source of light in the darkness.
As believers, we too are called to be the light in the darkness. Just like the light bulb that has been burning since 1901, the gospel has been burning bright since the beginning of time. It is up to us to keep that flame burning and to share it with others. We can be the light that enables others to see in the darkness, to see the hope that is found in Christ.
How can we live our lives so that others see the gospel in us? Do you believe that we should have the courage to share the good news with others and that we have the privilege and responsibility to be the light in this world? How can we keep the flame burning and share the good news? Know that Jesus will be with you every step of the way. He made the way, made it easy, and made it available for everyone who calls upon His name.

About this Plan
How do we respond to the gospel? We do so personally and for eternity. Our life has an impact when we persistently point people to Jesus. How do we love people who don’t know Him? We pray for them. Our heart’s desire is for their salvation. Everyone is welcome to receive the gospel.
