DAY 3 OF 6

Day 3: God Will Restore You!

“There it is!”

I have had many there-it-is! moments as I have a terrible habit of losing things.

It can be so frustrating when the things that we treasure or regularly use get lost or destroyed. However, when we become reunited with these objects or items, we feel such peace, relief, and sweet joy, knowing that we have found our lost possessions and can get on with our lives.

For years, I wandered aimlessly, not knowing that parts of my identity were lost in past traumas due to sins that others had committed against me. This not only made it hard for my inner being to communicate to me who I was, but the subconscious cloak of shame and sorrow I wore because my foundations of love, care, and attention were insecure, depleted my sense of worth and value.

When our identities are not known or restored to us, we will lack the internal clarity we need to be internally strong, limiting how we function in our varying roles as women.

I’m so glad I encountered a God who has restoration at the center of His heart. As the Creator of all things, everything that we are and are meant to be can be found in Him. Through this life-giving relationship, we can experience the levels of restoration that can only come from the Source of all humanity.

God desires to restore a very valuable possession to you: the truest and purest form of your identity so that your inner being can be internally strong. Just think about it—God took great time to uniquely design you and has intimate knowledge of how He intended for you to be. Therefore, despite what may have happened, He has the power to reunite you with every part of you so that you can rightly reflect His glory and handiwork.

As for all works of craftmanship, we must also discard the impure components that we carry in our lives. Whilst we are being restored, God works to remove the shame or stigma that may be attached to the losses in our lives so that we can walk tall. Shame and disgrace are not the portion for God’s daughters; instead, we are to wear beauty and joy as our crowns.

How would it feel to be reunited with the you that you once knew? To have your hopes, ambitions, and dreams restored?

Such experiences are unexplainable and indescribable, but they are available to you through our life-changing God.

God wants to release heaven over you today so that you are restored. Everything that is owed to you, He will give back to you. Trust Him for this amazing work.

Questions for Reflection: Do you long to retrieve what has been lost from your life? Allow God to place this godly desire within you.

Remember, you are favored by God. Through His miracles, restoration will take place in your life, and you will be filled with the full measure of His joy.
