Talking to JesusSample

Imagine having to forgive someone and love someone who wants nothing to do with you or cares about what you do for them. This is the exact situation that Hosea was put in. God called him to take a wife and God knew that Hosea's wife would not care about Hosea or what he does for her. Yet, God said that he is to continually forgive her and go after her. That takes a lot of forgiveness, but Hosea did it for his wife. In the same way, God has done it for His people. No matter what God did, His people just kept running from Him and not being appreciative of what God had done for them. Often times we live the same way, we do not live like we care about or want anything to do with God. Yet, we should because God has forgiven us time and time again. With that being said, we should be like God and Hosea and continually forgive people, even if they do not seem to care about what we are doing for them. They may hurt your feelings, but we should still forgive. Today, think about someone who seems like it would be impossible to forgive in your life, and begin to try to forgive them.
