Eve: A Perfect Complement to Adam
From the very beginning, God has recognized and established that it is not good for humans to do life alone. Here we see God's lengths to create the perfect complement to Adam.
Adam's perfect complement was not found in any of the animals that God created. God used a part of Adam to create his complement so she would be part of Adam's very essence.
Each of us must recognize the uniqueness of being a human. Each of us has a role to play, a place to belong, and a reason for existing. Those reasons start with being in fellowship with one another and are encouraged when we support one another.
Question: Spend some time thinking about this important move on God's part. How has your life been impacted by those who have been influential in your journey of life?
Prayer: Father, thank you for the helper/helpers you have placed in my life. Grant me the humility to recognize their importance, the grace to treat them with love and respect, and the wisdom to see them as you see them and be grateful for them.
