7 Dimensional Relationship As A BelieverSample
HOLY GOD AND WORSHIPER
The next important phrase in the Lord’s Prayer is ‘hallowed be your name.’ We are not only children of God, we are worshipers of God. The Name of God is Holy. As His children, we represent God in the world. I can bring shame, dishonor to His Glorious Holy Name. Our lifestyle, attitude, behavior, words, and relationships should bring glory and honor to God. That means my life itself should be worship. Worship is not a specific activity but my whole life. Worship is to bring honor and glory to God. Even when we drink a cup of water, it should bring glory to God. (I Corinthians 10:31) Worship involves my whole being. We have to love and worship the Lord with all my strength, mind, soul, heart, and spirit.
Bible teaches that God is Holy. (I Peter 1:16) Those who worship him should worship in the beauty of Holiness. (Psalms 96:9) God is morally, spiritually, and by all means Holy without blemish or stain. Holiness should be our theme, motto, and watchword. That means we are consecrated for God, though I live in this world.
Our lives should bring glory and honor to God. In other words, my life should magnify God. A sports person will magnify sports. A politician will magnify politics. Similarly, we should magnify God in all areas of life. God has not only made us His children, He has called us to be worshipers.
