All In: Faith Unfazed in a World of ChaosSample
In our world today, we are often left wondering if the people around us are sincere. Are the compliments we receive sincere, or is there a hidden motive behind them? What about ourselves? Are we living a sincere life, or do our social media posts only portray an unrealistically good life?
If you want to live an all-in faith in a chaotic world, all you need to do is come with sincerity. Hebrews 10:22 tells us to draw near with a true heart. We need to come to God with sincerity. We must live life with sincerity.
In John 4:24, Jesus reminded the Samaritan woman that God must be worshipped in Spirit and in truth. When you come to God, are you coming in sincerity with your heart right before Him? He wants you to come with full assurance, as sincere as when your children come to you.
One day Jesus used a little child to drive home this point. In Matthew 18, He called a little child to Him and set the child in the middle of the group of people. A child has no trouble believing; it is the adults who usually have the problem.
But Jesus said we need to come to God with that same pure heart of trust, knowing that what God has to offer is the best. He did not say we had to be perfect and have everything figured out. Rather, He wants us to be real. There may be times when we must unload our burdens on Him. Do not be afraid to be real before the Lord. He knows what you are going through and what is on your heart and mind.
Go with the best: come boldly and come with sincerity. The Father is waiting.
