A Man of Integrity

There are many opportunities in a day for your husband to run his agenda, seek his pleasure, cut corners, and come under the temptation to do what it takes to fit in. The enemy loves hypocrisy and would be thrilled for your husband to say one thing and do another or to claim Christ as the authority over his life and then live however he pleases.

Being a man of integrity is being a man who lives as a follower of Christ and does what he says he's going to do. His words have meaning; his yes means yes, and his no means no, just as Matthew says in chapter 5. You want your husband, whether at work, home, or on his own time, to be a man of integrity. You want him to be the man God wants him to be, a man who keeps his gaze forward and doesn't look to the left or the right, getting distracted by the ways of evil. Pray for him to be a man of integrity.

Let’s Pray:

Lord, thank you for always being trustworthy. You are exactly who you say that you are. Help my husband be an honorable man who does the things he says he will do. May those around him, including me as his wife, always know they can count upon him. May he fix his eyes on you and follow in step with your will for him regardless of situations or circumstances. Help him to be a man of integrity that gives glory to your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
