Paul: Past, Present, and Your Life’s Purpose

DAY 6 OF 7

It’s About His Grace

Have you ever wondered how a man once dedicated to destroying the church became one of its most influential leaders? It was God’s grace. Once a fierce opponent of the Christian faith, Paul was completely transformed by God's grace and became one of the greatest leaders of the early church. Through his writings and ministry, Paul reminds us that no matter how far we have fallen or what we have done, God’s grace is sufficient to forgive us and use us for His purposes.

God's grace is the unmerited favor that He bestows upon us, despite our many shortcomings and failures. It is the gift of forgiveness that we can never earn but only receive through faith in Jesus Christ. When we embrace God’s grace, we open ourselves to the possibility of transformation and renewal. Just as God changed Paul, He can also change us if we are willing to surrender our lives to Him. God has a purpose for our lives, and He sets us apart for that purpose with a special gift. This can be a scary thought, as it means that we might not be like our friends, neighbors, or co-workers. It means that we might disagree with the values and beliefs of the society around us. But it also means that we have a unique role to play in advancing God’s kingdom and spreading the message of salvation to others.

When God sets us apart, we must stay small and trust His guidance. We must surrender our lives to Him and allow Him to work through us, guiding and providing for us in ways we cannot imagine. This requires us to be willing to step out in faith, even when the path ahead is uncertain and scary.

Through Paul’s story, we see the incredible power of God’s grace and the transformative impact it can have on our lives. We see that no matter what we have done, God can forgive us and use us for His purposes. So, let us embrace God’s grace with open hearts, surrendering our lives to Him and trusting His guidance and provision. Let us be set apart by God, confident in His purpose for our lives and eager to play our part in advancing His kingdom. Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and allow God to use your past, present, and future for His strategic purpose, even if it means being set apart from the world and those around you?
