There’s a wrong assumption that your faith will save you. Jesus sometimes talks this way (Luke 7:50), so it can seem like it’s about how hard or how true you believe. But it’s not the quality of your faith or sincerity of your belief that saves you. Jesus saves you. Faith is simply an open hand receiving what he has done. Faith is responding to Jesus, not finding an inner quality to save yourself.
