Fluent: Part 3Sample

The word emet is commonly used to describe God in the Bible. It can be translated as “faithfulness“ or “truth.” It involves honesty and truth-telling, reliability, and dependability. Because it is the last of the five words used to describe God in Exodus 34:6, it declares that God’s character of compassion, graciousness, patience, and loyal love will be constant, faithful, or forever. So when the authors say that God is “full of emet,“ they are saying that God is trustworthy and reliable, true to His character and His promises.

About this Plan

To be fluent, one must be immersed in whatever is being learned. This plan is designed to help move your understanding of the Bible from creedal affirmation to a place of true fluency in the Scriptures so that you can be equipped to live out the transforming Kingdom truths laid out in God’s Word. This is part 3 of a 19-part plan that goes through the whole Bible. Thanks to Bible Project for the use of their video content.
