When our relationship with God is restored, and we are reconciled with Him, we can then rejoice. We don’t know what will happen, but we know who will be with us. After all, our faith is not ultimately where we are going but who will be with us.

Romans 5:1–11 can be summarized with the following truths if you belong to Jesus:

You are righteous.

You have peace with God.

You have access to God’s grace.

You can rejoice in hope.

You can glorify God in your suffering.

You can endure through your suffering.

You are growing in character.

You can hope, and you will not be ashamed. You are loved by God.

You are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Christ endured wrath and died for you. Christ rose from the dead for you.

Christ lives and intercedes for you.

Christ pours His love into you.

Christ reconciled you to God.
