It's Too Good To Keep To Yourself
When a person is experiencing the bliss of a life-changing relationship, they are eager to tell everyone about it. The love, joy, and happiness are just too good for them to keep to themselves, so they share it with anyone who'll listen, and even those who don't really care to listen. That is the power of a connection that has won your heart and changed your life.
You'd probably agree that since being a child of God, you've never been loved better; your heart has never been more safe; you've never hungered for righteousness so much; you've experienced an abundance of goodness that has changed your life and brought more joy than your heart can hold. This is likely a very accurate account of what being loved by Jesus has been like for you, right?
The question now is: Who are you telling about it? How often do you brag about your God?
Salvation comes with the responsibility to tell others about the blissful experience of a life saved by Christ. It comes with a commission to convert others. Conversion happens when we share our stories—when we testify. Word of mouth is still the greatest marketing tool for the Kingdom of God.
Today’s challenge is to not keep Jesus to yourself. Somebody somewhere could benefit from hearing about your journey with Jesus. It could very well be the thing that causes them to believe, or even to believe again. Who will you impact with your story?
Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of salvation and the transformation that it's yielded and the goodness that it brings on a daily basis. Give me the grace to tell others about You so that Your Kingdom will be further expanded and established. Amen.
