Fasting and learning may not be the typical ways that you connect with God, but there are so many ways to connect with Him!

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter—the Hebrew says, “to hide oneself carefully”. Scripture says that He carefully hides Himself in a way that deliberately avoids harm or errors. With thought and intention, He hides Himself in scripture and in history. Take the time today to search for revelation. He is not hiding in an effort to stay hidden. He is hidden in a way that deliberately avoids error. He hides so that YOU can find Him. Connect with God through learning while you fast today. Don’t neglect what He wants to teach you each day. It may require digging and getting out of your comfort zone, but He is waiting to be found.

Prayer: Spirit of revelation, open my eyes. Give me wisdom and understanding to know what You are saying. Your word says that If I seek You, I will find You, so I seek You with my whole heart. I want to connect with You through learning. Open my eyes to see what You have hidden in your word, in this season of fasting and growing in intimacy with You.
