52 Bible Verses for MenSample

The decisions and choices we make hold within them different promises. In this passage, the Apostle Paul is saying the decision to be physically fit holds value for this life, and spiritual exercise holds promises for both this life and the next. This isn’t a devotion to devalue exercise, because we should honor God by caring for the body He gave so it can carry us to fulfill our purpose. But, when you look at the body and the spirit, it’s building up your spirit that has the most value. Working out your faith muscle is the priority.
QUESTIONS
What are you doing to be physically healthy? What are you doing to grow your relationship with God? How are you prioritizing your faith?
CONFESSION
I will prioritize my relationship with God above all else. I will be healthy in my mind, body, and spirit.
