There’s a priority principle in this verse. When you make God’s ways a priority then He makes your ways secure. Often we want security or guarantees from God before we start applying His word. But, it’s actually the application of His Word that stabilizes our lives. Does that mean that as a follower of Jesus that I’ll never have issues? No, it says, even if he stumbles, he will not fall because God holds him up. As we learn to love, honor, and prioritize God’s ways, then He will cause all of life to begin to flow in the right direction.
