Plot TwistSample

Think about a story you've heard where someone faced incredible hardships. How did they respond to the hardships they faced? Maybe they responded with negativity and could only focus on what went wrong. Maybe another person responded with hope. It seems weird, doesn't it? That someone could go through the most devastating life experience and still be able to have hope. How is that possible?
God tells us that we should always be ready to explain the hope we have in Jesus. No matter what we face, we can have hope knowing that Jesus won't turn his back on us and that he's with us. That gives us great comfort and can also encourage us to give comfort to those who feel like there is no reason to believe in better days. People will wonder why you're able to find hope when it seems like there's no reason, and you get to share that with them!
How can you show one person that Jesus is a great source of hope?

About this Plan

Whether it’s your favorite movie, book, or reality show, you know there's nothing like a good plot twist! A plot twist can make us rethink everything we thought we knew about the story. In this 30-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, designed for Lent we’ll focus on how Jesus experienced “life-plot twists” and how he is with us when we go through unexpected moments in our life.
