It is so helpful to remember that while Paul is pastoring and writing to this church in Corinth, there are so many other churches starting and growing too! For example, in verse 12, Paul mentions going to preach in the city of Troas. In Acts 16, we find out that when Paul went to Troas he met a woman named Lydia. She converted to Christianity and went on to play a significant part in planting the church in Philippi, which is where we get the letter to the Phillipians!

Today, along with praying for your local church, let us focus our thoughts on praying for our other communities, whether in Nashville, Mississippi, Los Angeles and even communities yet to come in South America, Europe and beyond!
