Day 7: Your Journey OUT of Darkness

Too often, we live our lives like in the days of Noah, believing that no storm is pending, no evil is lurking, but the Word of the Lord states, "Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for whom he can devour, kill, steal, and destroy." To be blind, deaf, and mute to this knowledge is to leave yourself open and vulnerable to the lies and strategies of your enemy. The enemy's primary strategy is to lie to you. Therefore, it is imperative and of utmost importance that you take captive every thought and make sure it is aligned with God's truth. Remember, God is Truth and can only tell the truth. The enemy is a liar and will always lie. Commit to renewing your mind with the mind of Christ. Jesus is both truth and grace!

Psalms 18 provides for you a warrior's plan. Worshiping God is foremost: He is your rock, fortress, refuge, and deliverer. He is worthy of all your praise. Second, send out your 911 call for help and it will reach His ears and He will answer. Mighty Warrior will take it from here. In His response, He will part the clouds, come down, and declare war on the enemy with a violent force, rerouting the enemy with vengeance, and declare He is God, Mighty Warrior. Then, His greatest delight is in reaching down, rescuing you, and drawing you to Himself and into His Real Presence. The cross of Christ disarms the enemy, destroying and demolishing him. God gives you authority by the works of the cross to stand firm in agreement that the enemy has no hold on you, for God has called you out of darkness and into His marvelous, magnificent, and wonderful light.

Reflection

First, worship Him from your "sit place." He is worthy of your praise, and should greatly be praised for who He is and what He has done for you. Second, make your 911 call and trust it will find its way to God's ears. He will hear and answer you. Third, watch what God as the Mighty Warrior will do for you in His response. First, He will take vengeance on the enemy to declare His rule and reign. Second, He will rescue you with great delight, drawing you into His love. Once again, He declares His glorious presence and power as The One and Only True God!
