God spoke the above verse to me through a painting. It was beautiful! It was filled with spots of bright colors. It had no white spaces, but had colors everywhere. And to complete it, was Jesus’ name written in bold on those lovely colors.
As I wondered and pondered upon this painting, God clearly expressed two distinct details to me. Firstly, He said He has filled all these colors into our lives. He has established us and anointed us. Just as an artist would put in a lot of effort and spend hours making a painting perfect, God has created us perfect in His love. His love makes us whole. As an artist will always find his painting unique and precious, we, God’s creation are unique and precious.
Secondly, when I pondered further on this painting, God highlighted Jesus’ name, which was written in bold. It was just the way an artist acknowledges his painting. The same way, Jesus has imprinted and sealed His name over our lives. A seal is used to guarantee security or indicate ownership. Ancient seals were embedded with the personalized imprint of their guarantor. Jesus is our guarantor, and we have His personalized imprint over our lives. He has sealed us and given the Holy Spirit to us as a guarantee that we are owned by Him and secured in Him.

Thank You Father, for creating and securing us. There is nothing I fear when I’m sealed by Your love and Spirit. Amen.
