Standing for One Another
Our country is a melting pot of different cultures dictated by religious beliefs and traditions. Many of us have lived our lives either being very religious and traditional, or being very detached from these very things.
When we come to Christ, our spirit undergoes a massive transformation. But our habitual inclinations and lifestyle take some time to change. This transformation is slow. However, with God’s help people are able to change for the better. As we spend more time in God’s presence and read His Word, our spiritual eyes are opened and we are able to stop doing things that do not edify our soul. But, not all of us progress at the same pace. While some can be transformed in days or weeks, some do take years.
We as fellow believers, should display a sense of love and support to those who might be slower to change. As Paul urges us in today’s verse, we must readily ‘accept’ the one who is weak, without making him or her feel condemned. Our love for others should not be based on what we eat or where we live. Instead of judging others, we must find opportunities to stand in the gap in prayer and help them out, so that they are able to overcome their weaknesses with God’s help. In some cases, our own testimonies could be helpful and encouraging.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to live a life that reflects Your unconditional love for me, by not just accepting people as they are, but also loving them without judging them and helping them to overcome their weaknesses. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
