Appreciate His Greatness
Teresa prepared a pretty card for her friend on her birthday. Her friend, however, did not value it too much. Teresa felt hurt. Esther took pains to cook a delicious meal for her husband on their wedding anniversary, but he didn’t seem to notice. Esther was very upset. Both Teresa and Esther were sad because they were not appreciated for their efforts.
Many times, I wonder how beautifully God has created us, and fearfully carved us on the palm of His hand. If we begin to thank the Lord for our beautifully designed body, we’d probably run short of time. The skull well protecting the brain, the computer of our body, eyes holding the pupils and pupils holding the iris, a fist-shaped heart pumping blood to the entire body, network of nerves sending and receiving messages, bean shaped kidneys filtering the impurities, eyelids with pretty eyelashes …, I could go on and on.
If I am asked to draw several faces, each different from the other, I am sure I couldn’t draw more than eight or 10. The eleventh face would be a repetition of one or more of the other 10 faces. But our Lord has created more than 6500 million people, each different from the other. This shows that our Lord is so marvelous, wonderful, amazing and extraordinary. He is great and awesome. Let’s take pride in knowing this great God intimately. Let’s appreciate His very own creation, which is us. Above all, let’s value Him for His incredible works, and appreciate Him and thank Him because He truly deserves it.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for this healthy body of mine. It’s only because of Your grace that every organ performs its function so well. Help me Lord to use every part of my body wisely. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
