Pray and Doubt Not
Have you ever prayed for something and not received an immediate answer? Whether we are praying for healing, a promotion, examination results or salvation for a loved one, we must believe that God hears and answers us. Remember, doubt keeps us from our miracle.
We may not see things happen immediately, but we must believe that God is at work.
Without faith, we can get easily discouraged when things don’t happen the way we want them to, and we might tend to quickly forget the promises of God. In fact, that’s exactly what the devil would want us to do. The most powerful weapon used by the devil to deactivate our faith is discouragement.
There will be times when the answer to your problem does not come immediately. Don’t lose heart. The Bible clearly says, in James 1:3 (NIV), that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. If you want your faith to stand this testing, you must learn to keep your faith rooted in God’s Word. After all, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
Today, no matter what your circumstances are, you can rest in the fact that God knows what He is doing. Do not be fooled by the devil’s words of discouragement. Stand firm and take hold of your faith, and the promises of God will be on their way!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I believe in You and have faith that You will hear my prayer today. I will hold onto Your promises, trusting that whatever I ask in Jesus’ name I will receive. Let not my will, but Your will be done. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
