Unemployment, financial crisis, sickness, barrenness, inability to get a good life partner, stress at work, strained relationships. These are some of the worries faced by many today. Have you ever wondered why we have some of these challenges? From my personal experience, I would say, it is mainly to glorify God and to comfort others
A blind boy was taken to Jesus and His disciples asked Him, “Why is this boy blind?” Jesus answered, “He is blind, so that God can be glorified through him.” Sometimes we go through severe hardships. Later when we are delivered, we say, ‘Thank You, God!’ with a deep sigh of relief. We testify that God delivered us from crisis. So, sometimes we face troubles so that He can be glorified.
I faced a huge financial loss a few years ago. I had to go through a lot of stress. I prayed and asked God to deliver me. I didn’t get the money back, but the strength that God gave me was indescribable. I believe that I will get double of what I lost; but, in His time. Today, if anybody has a monetary loss, I can comfort them better, because I have gone through the same crisis.
God knows our ability. He is a faithful God. He will never ever allow us to be tempted or tried beyond our ability. He will not sit back and watch us suffer, but will make a way out for us.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You that You are always with me. Please teach me to rest in You and to handle tough situations in life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
