Waiting Patiently
If God wasn’t growing sons and daughters, things wouldn’t take nearly as long. But since He is more interested in our growing than in our getting, waiting becomes an essential and useful means toward that end. He’s not interested in add-water-and-mix saints, or in freezer-to-microwave-to-table kids. He takes the long view.
So what do you do while you’re waiting?
Be confident that He takes no delight in compelling you to wait. He is, rather, patiently overseeing your life.
Rest. He wants you to trust Him.
