As God’s servants, I see our twenty-first century challenge not so much a call to greater activity as a call to deeper transformation. According to God’s Word, “changed in His image” people become the “shatter the darkness” people (2 Cor. 3:18; 4:6). So “deeper transformation” isn’t an escape into philosophy, but an entrance into a new availability—to Christ and to the world of precious people He is seeking to save.
